Topics important in both advanced mathematics and the sciences, principally physics: complex functions and power series, multiple integration and the Jacobian, Fourier analysis, series solutions of differential equations, orthogonal bases and special functions, and the partial differential equations of physics, including Laplace’s equation and the diffusion equation.
